Cinio Nadolig – Christmas Dinner 2025

This year’s Over 60s Christmas Dinner was held in the Pentre Arms on 10 December 2025.

We had around 40 Llangrannog residents come together to celebrate the season, including new additions to the village Jill and Nigel Davies who have just moved into Bryngobaith (above the Patio Cafe). Welcome to them!

Johnathan Rees was stirring as ever on the fiddle, and there was some lovely singing with some surprising voices (in a good way!). Chairman of the Welfare Committee Adrian Brice made a short speech thanking villagers for their support and Committee members for their hard work. Appreciation was also given to Mike Rutherford and the staff for another fantastic meal. Thanks to everyone who gave a donation towards the cost of the meal, it’s much appreciated to allow us to continue our work.

If you know of anyone who is over 60 and has a Llangrannog postcode, let us know and we can add them to the list for next year (they can bring a friend). We don’t like to ask, are you 60?!

Over 60s Christmas Dinner 2018

We had a great turnout this year for the Over 60s Christmas Dinner for residents of Llangrannog. Nearly 40 people enjoyed a three-course Christmas meal prepared by Mike and the team at the Pentre Arms. Jonathan Rees led us in a series of carols, accompanied by the fiddle. Thanks to the staff of the Pentre and Jonathan, and everyone who helped organise the day.

If you have a Llangrannog postcode (pop it into Google to find out!) and are over 60 years old, you are eligible to attend the dinner next year. Please be aware, we don’t always know who is over 60, (and we don’t like to ask!) so please request  to be put on the list.
